- Can I turn a logo PNG into a 3D printable keychain or sign?
- Yes. Export the logo as a PNG with a transparent background, drop it here, and keep "Flat logo shape" on: the logo becomes a flat-topped raised solid on a thin base plate. Set the width to your keychain size and a base of 1–2 mm. Add the key-ring hole in your slicer with a negative cylinder (a transparent circle in the PNG only drops to the base plate, it doesn't cut through). For a two-color print, add a filament change at the layer where the logo starts.
- Why does my PNG STL come out almost flat?
- Height comes from brightness, so an image whose tones sit in a narrow band gives a nearly flat relief. Raise the height/thickness setting, or start from a higher-contrast PNG — a flat result means the source had little to work with, not that the conversion failed.
